In the middle of painting this handsome fella, as I was lierally waiting for the paint to dry, I happened upon an Instagram post about buffalo. I was awestruck to learn that when a storm approaches, unlike other grazing animals, the entire herd charges straight into the storm. The bravery of that act has stuck with me and the Buffalo will always have my utmost respect. — Shayna, June 2022
