“Ocelot”

Commissioned for a family's newly remodeled home, this painting of an ocelot carries deep symbolism, making it a meaningful addition to their space. The ocelot, often regarded as a pathfinder, embodies guidance, intuition, and independence. In the wild, these graceful and determined creatures navigate their surroundings with precision, reminding us of the importance of trusting our instincts and confidently forging our own paths in life. In a special personal touch, the ocelot's eyes and nose were painted using pigments made from rocks found in the family's own yard. This grounding element connects the artwork to the very land where the family has made their home. Just as the ocelot moves through its environment with confidence, this painting symbolizes the clarity and guidance that will help the family navigate their own journeys and transitions while staying deeply rooted in their space.
