“Quetzal”

I chose to create this piece using soft, muted greens which blend seamlessly into a gentle, earthy brown, offering a serene yet vibrant presence. The feather's slender form draws the eye, heightened by a skillful use of gradient and subtle layering, creating a gentle transition that feels natural. My brushstrokes were careful and deliberate, ensuring every drip and edge contributes to a sense of calm but purposeful presence, while the delicate balance of shapes invites the viewer to pause and reflect.
