In this painting, I used soft grays and gentle yellows to create a feather that feels both delicate and strong. The watercolor technique allowed me to blend the colors seamlessly, with subtle splatters and drips adding a sense of spontaneity and life. As I painted, I focused on the gentle transitions and the lightness of the brushstrokes, aiming to capture a feeling of renewal and the quiet assurance that comes with new beginnings.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
