In this painting, I used the hand-made pigment Marshall Fire #1 to craft a feather that hovers softly on the canvas. The muted grays and subtle golds fade into each other with delicate transitions, while fine splatters and gentle drips add a touch of spontaneity to the piece. As I painted, I felt a sense of strength in each brushstroke, shaping layers of resilience and warmth that speak to reaching higher while staying grounded in love.
