In this painting, I used the hand-made pigment Minnesota Lake #1 to create a soft, earthy palette that flows gently across the feather's form. The delicate transitions and subtle layering of browns and grays capture the feather's natural beauty, while the light splatters and drips add a sense of movement and life. As I painted, I felt a deep connection to the simple yet profound moments that shape our lives, hoping to inspire others to reflect on their own cherished memories.
