In this painting, I chose a palette of soft blues, gentle yellows, and earthy browns using my hand-made pigment, Rocky Mountain #8, which gives the colors a warm, natural feel. I love how the delicate transitions and layering create a sense of calm; the way the brushstrokes fan out from the center brings a sense of completeness. Each splatter and drip is deliberate, adding a touch of spontaneity while ensuring everything feels just right.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
