In this piece, I embraced rich reds and delicate blues, letting them flow freely to form the feather's graceful silhouette. I used gentle brushstrokes to create soft transitions and delicate blends, allowing the feather to seem as if it's caught in a breeze. The blue splatter suggests spontaneity and an upward movement, reflecting the idea of reaching beyond limits and embracing new beginnings.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
