“Green-winged Macaw”

As I painted this feather, I chose warm earth tones and soft greens, allowing them to flow and merge gently. The watercolor technique lets the colors bleed into one another, creating an organic and unrestrained edge, while the background remains clean to highlight the feather’s form. I aimed for balance and intention, using delicate brushstrokes and subtle splatters to express a sense of direction and focus, capturing a fleeting moment in nature.
