In this piece, I poured my heart into creating a vibrant feather using the hand-made pigment Rocky Mountain #5. The interplay of fiery reds, deep oranges, and vivid pinks captures the eye, with smooth brushstrokes layering and weaving to mimic the grace of nature. The gentle splatters and fluid drips add a touch of spontaneity, inviting a sense of steadiness and grounding through its natural rhythm.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
