In this painting, I used handmade pigment Marshall Fire #1 to craft gentle transitions of gold and soft violet that drape across the feather's form. The light splatters and dynamic drips create a natural edge that gently blurs, evoking a tranquil energy. It’s in these subtle blends and organic shapes that I find a sense of grounding and tranquility, reassuring in their simple yet profound beauty.
