This painting was born from my time in Jackson Hole last summer. The wild beauty of the Tetons—the shifting light, the scent of sage, the ever-present wind—moved something deep within me. When I returned to my studio, this horse seemed to fly off my brush, as if carried by that same mountain air.
Painted with Rocky Mountain earth pigment in the eye, Teton Wind carries the grounding energy of the land while embodying the freedom and power of the horse—an enduring symbol of strength, movement, and spirit. It’s a reminder of how nature flows through us when we allow ourselves to be open, wild, and untamed. —
