“Blue Jay”

I wanted to capture a sense of strength through simplicity, using soft blues and deep blacks that transition gently across the feather. By applying delicate wash techniques and allowing splatters to punctuate the background, I've created a contrast between the lightness of the feather and the forceful impression it leaves. Each brushstroke is intentional, embodying perseverance and a quiet determination that speaks to the journey of overcoming life's challenges.
