In this piece, I used the hand-made pigment Vermont #1 to explore earthy tones that resonate with warmth and serenity. The feather's gentle browns and grays flow softly, with delicate transitions between the layers, giving a sense of softness and tranquility. I focused on fine brushstrokes and subtle splatters to capture the feather’s natural elegance, aiming to create a visual space that allows the viewer to breathe and find calmness amidst life’s complexities.
