In this painting, I used soft blues and rich blacks to bring the feather to life, allowing the delicate transitions and splatters to create a sense of harmony and peace. The gentle blend of colors and subtle strokes suggest movement and growth, while the feather's airy texture is enhanced by the light splatters and drips around it. I aimed to capture the gentle embrace of nature, offering a reminder of comfort and connection.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
