In this piece, I used my handcrafted pigment Rocky Mountain #5, which gives the painting its earthy, muted tones. I layered delicate brushstrokes to create the soft transitions and splatters, infusing the feather with a sense of gentle movement and whispers of subtle strength. While working, I focused on organic edges and drift-like blends to gently nudge the viewer's awareness, encouraging a quiet moment of connection.
