I chose to paint this feather using a delicate palette of earthy and muted tones, infused with my hand-made pigment, Marshall Fire #1. The gentle layering and soft transitions create a sense of movement, as if the feather could take flight at any moment, reminding us of the strength we carry within ourselves. Through the subtle brushstrokes and splatters, I aimed to capture a balance of grace and resilience that resonates deeply and personally with me.
