I wanted to capture a sense of calm and focus using the earthy hues of my hand-made pigment, Rocky Mountain #5. The feather’s soft, muted browns gently transition into lighter shades, with a few deliberate splatters adding a touch of spontaneity. Each brushstroke is intentional, leading the eye on a gentle journey, creating a calming flow that lets the viewer feel grounded and engaged.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
