“Cooper's Hawk”

I chose a soft palette of deep indigo and gentle grays to capture the essence of this feather, allowing the colors to flow and blend naturally with each brushstroke. The delicate transitions and subtle splatters create a sense of movement and grace, while the sharp edges of the feather's spine convey strength. As I painted, I felt a quiet determination, knowing that even the lightest touch can leave a lasting impact.
