In creating this piece, I immersed myself in the subtle elegance of earthy tones, allowing watercolor's natural blending to craft the soft transitions from warm browns to cooler grays. Each brushstroke is intentionally gentle, capturing the feather's delicate nature, while the subtle splatters and drips bring a sense of organic movement and authenticity. As I painted, I felt a deep sense of calm and unity, hoping to convey a feeling of being gently led by unseen hands, as if the feather might guide us to places of quiet reflection and mutual understanding. — Shayna, December 2022
