In creating this painting, I carefully chose soft earth tones like browns and sandy hues to capture the delicate essence of the feather. The gentle transitions and light brushstrokes were deliberate, inviting a calming rhythm to the piece. Each layer was added with care, allowing the natural splattering and subtle drips to bring a sense of grounded reality, giving the viewer a chance to pause and simply be in the moment.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
