In creating this piece, I carefully chose a palette infused with the earthiness of my handmade pigment, Rocky Mountain #7. The gentle transition of blues, browns, and soft greens, thoughtfully layered, creates a natural rhythm that you can feel without needing to see every detail. The delicate brushstrokes mimic the feather's texture while subtle splatters and drips offer an organic, flowing movement. Through these colors and techniques, I've aimed to capture a sense of tranquility and warmth, inviting viewers to reflect and connect.
