I used soft, earthy tones created from my handmade pigment, Rocky Mountain #7, which blends rich browns and gentle grays. As I layered the colors, the soft transitions in the feather's edges came alive, showing its delicate beauty. Each brushstroke was a careful dance, with splatters and drips adding spontaneity, capturing the essence of rising above and reaching anew.
