In this painting, I chose soft, earthy browns and grays to create a sense of delicate balance and calm. I let the watercolor flow naturally, allowing the feather to emerge through gentle transitions and subtle blends, with deliberate spots bringing a touch of whimsy and lightness. My brush danced lightly across the paper, adding splatters and drips that offer a lively spontaneity, inviting the viewer to pause, breathe, and connect with the simplicity of the moment.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
