I poured my heart into this piece, using the rich, earthy tones of my hand-made Vail Pigment #1 to create a feather that feels both grounded and ethereal. The gentle transitions between deep blues and warm browns, along with the soft, flowing brushstrokes, invite a sense of calm and reflection. As I layered the colors and allowed the splatters and drips to form naturally, I felt a quiet strength emerging, a reminder of resilience and renewal.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
