I chose to weave together deep blues, rich greens, and warm earthy browns with my hand-made Rocky Mountain Green #1 pigment. The soft brushstrokes meld these colors into a feather that feels both free and grounded, with gentle splatters and drips suggesting spontaneity. Through this piece, I wanted to capture the essence of a spirit that is unyielding yet embracing, mirroring the strength in vulnerability.

This original watercolor is 6" x 12". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
