In this painting, I used the rich, earthy tones of my hand-made pigment, Rocky Mountain #6, to create a bold yet gentle feather. The sharp, contrasting strokes unify with smooth, subtle blends, bringing to life the feather's graceful strength and delicate beauty. Through intentional drips and light splatters, I aimed to capture a sense of quiet power and deep affection, conveying hope and resilience.
