In this painting, I embraced the warmth of soft browns and subtle creams, brought to life by my hand-made pigment Rocky Mountain #5. I used delicate washes and gentle transitions to create a feather that dances lightly on the canvas, with subtle speckles and fine feathering true to its natural form. The gentle blends and spontaneous drips capture a sense of quiet assurance; I wanted it to resonate with the quiet strength and intuitive wisdom we carry within us.
