“Black Red Furnace Rooster Hackle”

In this piece, I used a soft palette of blues and oranges to convey a sense of calm against a lively background. The feather's delicate brushstrokes give it a sense of motion, as if it might take flight at any moment, while the splatters and drips add a playful spontaneity to the work. I wanted the layering and fine transitions to remind others of growth and strength, embracing every twist and turn with grace.
