In this painting, I chose a soft blend of warm earth tones—golden yellow and rich browns—against a cooler backdrop of grays and blacks. I applied gentle brushstrokes, allowing the colors to transition smoothly, capturing the delicate essence of a feather. As I layered the washes, the subtle splatters and drips gave the piece movement and life. Through its balanced composition and soothing hues, I aimed to create a sense of calm and reassurance, inviting the viewer to feel supported and uplifted.
