In this piece, I used a palette of hand-made pigments—Rocky Mountain #7, Marshall Fire #1, and Camino Pigment #1—to create a warm, earthy blend that feels both grounded and uplifting. The gentle transitions and soft layering of colors mimic the natural flow of a feather, while the delicate splatters and drips add a sense of movement and transformation. As I painted, I felt a quiet strength emerging, a reminder of how beauty can arise from even the most challenging circumstances.
