In this painting, I gently let the deep blues and warm rust tones flow together, using soft transitions and delicate layers to capture the feather's delicate nature. I applied watercolors in a way that allowed subtle drips and splatters to emerge, giving the feather an organic and spontaneous feel. Through careful brush techniques, I aimed to create a calmness and rhythm, inviting viewers to pause and appreciate the simple beauty of nature.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
