I'm thrilled to share this piece, where I focused on the gentle browns and warm russets that give the feather a cozy, earthy feel. I used delicate transitions and layering with watercolor to highlight the soft edges and wispy strands, creating a natural flow. Each brushstroke was intentional, allowing the paint to slightly drip and splatter, illustrating the gentle, unwavering path of nature.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
