In creating this piece, I chose a delicate palette using my hand-made pigment, Rocky Mountain #5, to blend soft earth tones with subtle greens and grays. I explored the gentle transition of colors and the fluidity of the brushstrokes, which naturally formed an organic shape that invites tranquility. The simplicity and gentle splatters evoke a sense of calm, allowing the viewer to feel a quiet harmony within the stillness.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
