In creating this piece, I used the hand-made pigment Rocky Mountain #6 to bring rich, earthy tones to life. The feather's deep, gentle browns and warm whites melt seamlessly together, with soft transitions that invite a sense of calm. Delicate splatters and subtle drips add movement, echoing life's quiet moments and shared joys. Through each brushstroke, I aimed to encapsulate the gentle whisper of a feather's fall, providing a serene space for reflection and appreciation.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
