In this painting, I gently combined soft purples and earthy browns, allowing them to blend seamlessly, creating a gentle harmony that feels both grounding and uplifting. My brushstrokes were careful yet relaxed, forming subtle edges and fluid transitions resembling the delicate veins of a feather. As I painted, I wanted to capture a sense of quiet strength and reassurance, a reminder that light and calm are always within reach.

This original watercolor is 5" x 10". The Saunders Waterford 300# paper is mounted on a wood panel. Finished with archival spray varnish and hand buffed with cold wax medium. Custom framed and ready to hang.
